We need the ability to set universal settings but also do decide which settings we want to only apply to a specific device. For example, the TV Guide is not available on the iPhone, so if you set it on other devices, it won’t appear on your phone. In that case it would be great to be able to add the "live" category just on the phone without it appearing on the other devices – also, you might watch movies on the TV but not on other devices, so turning that category off everywhere else makes sens…
